THE signing of goal ace Neil Richmond from Great Wakering Rovers could prove to be the icing on the cake for the Millers in their bid for automatic promotion.
For the striker pounced twice, after 21 and 78 minutes, to keep Aveley in top spot.
Sam Adejokun had struck first to give the visitors the lead against his old club after eight minutes. Richmond levelled before Jonathan Spencer again put Potters Bar in front.
Joel Barnett grabbed Aveley’s equaliser before Richmond struck again to ensure the three points.
