I went to see James Duddridge MP some six weeks ago to discuss a couple of issues.

I was rushed out of the meeting with a promise my MP would e-mail when he had read the papers concerning the issues.

No e-mail was sent, so I sent him an e-mail, thanking him for his time and hoping he would be able to help. He did not answer.

Judging by comments on the Echo website I should not be too surprised by his indifference.

Having said he would look into the matter, if he had then advised me he couldn’t help I would have understood, but to promise to do something as simple as e-mail someone and not, is unacceptable.

Teddy Taylor had a large majority because he worked hard for his constituents and didn’t take them for granted.

Mr Duddridge should take note, as many people feel the jury is still out on his performance.
