Which council bosses have put forward what pay and display plan for the Southend hospital area?

At the last meeting of the traffic and parking working party, chaired by councillor Waite, officers and ward councillors discussed a new formula for controlled parking zones.
This is a complicated plan with different restrictions suited to different streets, or parts of streets, and all residents will be consulted before anything is put in.
I ask everyone in the hospital area to take their chance and have their say, so we get the best controls possible to stop commuter parking which is choking our streets now.
This will oblige hospital workers to use the new multi-storey car park, but for all of us living in the area, safe streets, especially for our schoolchildren, come first.
