A HULLBRIDGE man is cycling thousands of miles for a cancer charity.
Timothy Smith, 40, of Burnham Road, set off last week on a 2,500-mile trip all the way around Britain’s coastline in aid of Marie Curie cancer care.
Mr Smith trained for three months, and expects the trip to take between five and six weeks.
He said: “I’m hoping to average about 70 miles a day and I’ll be camping along the way.
“I’ve raised about £900 so far.”
