MELODIC popsters the A Train will be honing their harmonies at Saks next month.
The three-piece group, whose sound veers between the folkier and lighter sides of rock music, will be performing at the venue, in Clifftown Road, Southend.
The date marks the release of the band’s single Black and White Memories, a two and-a-half minute slice of pure pop, due out on Monday.
Brothers James and Dan McKean formed the A Train in Oxford a few years ago, but the boys have been based in London for the past 12 months, writing and recording. They take a break from the big smoke on July 16 when they journey out to the coast for the Southend show.
Doors open at 7.30pm, and entry is £4.
