Why the fuss about dogs on the beach? There won’t be anyone to control or police the rule anyway, so carry on as normal.
At regular intervals along the seafront footpath from Shoebury to Leigh there are signs that state no cycling. When was the last time any person was prosecuted or even approached by anyone in authority?
Some weekends there are as many cyclists as there are pedestrians. So keep walking Fido on the beach, you won’t be troubled.
