SOUTHEND United's High Court administration hearing has been adjourned after the club offered to pay the unpaid tax bill in full.
The club was threatened with being put into administration because of debts to the taxman of £2.1million.
Michael Green, solicitor for Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs said today: "Literally five minutes before this morning's hearing we have received an offer of payment in full from the company."
A hearing will now take place on Monday (November 9).
