THERE were long tailbacks on the A127 this morning following an accident involving a car and a motorcyclist.
The westbound carriageway was closed for 45 minutes at Rayleigh Weir underpass following the crash, which happened at 7.30am.
The motorcyclist was taken to Southend Hospital after suffering minor injuries.
All lanes are now open and traffic is flowing freely.
