A ONE-STOP shop for parents of pre-school children could be opening in Billericay.
Essex County Council has applied for planning permission to build the centre, which will offer health and learning advice to parents with youngsters aged under five, in the grounds of Brightside Primary School, in Rosebay Avenue, Billericay.
The centre will be part of the Government's Sure Start campaign.
Basildon Council should decide on the application in the New Year.
