The Canvey Greenbelt Campaign fully appreciate the support and encouragement it continues to receive in its opposition to Castle Point Council’s core strategy document.
However I must disagree with part of Bill Perkins’s letter (January 4).
Alongside Bill, and many others, I have committed as much spare time and effort as possible into the campaign. However I must concede in no way can this compare with the years of dedicated service Ray Howard has committed to the local community.
While many may disagree on many parts of the Council’s forward plans for Canvey, we have to recognise the sheer day-to-day hard work of Ray, as it is there for all to see and cannot be disputed.
