On the Wednesday before Christmas I cut the back of my head after falling on an icy pavement in Baddow Road, Chelmsford.
Four people came to my assistance. One of the ladies used a scarf to stem the blood while another called an ambulance.
All four stayed and comforted me until a paramedic arrived.
Fortunately, my visit to Broomfield Hospital revealed no serious injury and after an application of medical glue I was discharged.
Apart from gathering that the ladies live in the Basildon area, I failed to get any other details. They were generous in both spirit and kindness, for which I am very grateful.
I would like to make contact in order to thank them properly and return the scarf, now freshly laundered.
