On many occasions I read in the Echo of complaints against Southend Council.
The complaints are often what appear to be gross incompetence on the part of somebody who should be accountable to the public for their actions.
When these complaints are made, I am sure it makes many other residents wonder what the hell is going on, especially when amounting to the blatant squandering of our money.
What I don’t seem to see is anybody responsible enough from the council with the guts to admit the incompetence and answer us, via the Echo, on these many important matters.
Where our money is concerned, everybody in public office should be answerable to us for their actions whenever decisions appear to be questionable.
