TWO men have been stabbed on Southend seafront.
The victims were attacked after an altercation with three other men while they were walking along Marine Parade about 12.15am yesterday.
Both men needed stitches for injuries caused by an unknown sharp weapon.
A 29-year-old man from Stockport, Cheshire, suffered cuts to his face and was kept at Basildon Hospital overnight for further treatment.
A 44-year-old man from Leicester, was allowed home after treatment to cuts to his arm and chest.
Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to call PC Ruth Cordey at Southend CID on 0300 3334444.
