My family and I would like to pass on our gratitude for the excellent care from the Basildon Ambulance Service, Rayleigh Weir ambulance base (on different occasions), and A&E Southend Hospital, for their rapid response, and treatment of my husband, Ainsley Linton. I cannot thank them enough.
The hospital has also saved our lives three times, especially when we had a major road accident in 1960.
The dedication and care provided by these doctors and nurses throughout the years is constantly outstanding.
We should never take the NHS in this country for granted.
