The attack on Royal Mail continues. The sorting office in Short Street, Southend, will no longer distribute the mail as it has been decided our mail will be sent to our local sorting offices from Chelmsford.
Yes, mail volumes have decreased, but successive management teams have done little to combat this.
They just accept the situation.

We are to experience a disrupted postal service while swallowing a price increase of up to 50 per cent, along with privatisation hanging over the business.
It is not the workers who are dragging the business down, it’s the faceless people in their warm and comfortable offices.
