Railings are going to be placed along Shoebury beach to stop motorists parking on the path because residents have been complaining since 2007.
It’s only taken more than five years of complaints to finally get something done.
Bravo Southend Council!
Where Rampart Street joins High Street, the road is going to be narrowed to force vehicles to slow down as they move out on to the High Street. So what about the people coming out from the new boatyard area, as well as the new bistro?
Rampart Street can get quite clogged at times. The buses seem to find that corner a tight turn as it is, so I hope it’s not too narrow or is that the way vehicles are going to be forced to slow down, stuck behind a bus?
