Southend Airport can double the size of its terminal
SOUTHEND Airport is set for another jobs and flights boom after it got permission to more than double the size of its terminal.
The plans are expected to create 300 new jobs while easyJet is looking at adding more destinations.
The decision, by Rochford District Council, came as flights to Venice with the airline were announced.
Tickets are on sale today.
