A £3,000 reward has been offered for information on a man wanted for an acid attack.
Charity Crimestoppers is trying to find David Hudson, 52, who is wanted in connection with a serious assault in Leigh.
This attack on a man in his 20s involved a noxious substance, believed to be acid. It happened inside a property in Danbury Close, at around 12pm on Thursday 5 October. The victim was taken to hospital where he required treatment to his face.
The public are advised not to approach Hudson. He is 5ft 10ins tall, has a scar on his right eyebrow and a tribal tattoos on his right arm.
A reward of up to £3,000 is now being offered for information given to our charity that leads to the arrest of David Hudson.
Phil Breckon, Eastern Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “This acid attack has shocked the community and left the victim requiring hospital treatment for his injuries. Everyone has a right to feel safe from crime and this type of assault is very distressing.
“Someone will know where David Hudson is and if that’s you, we urge you to contact our charity and tell us what you know. You will remain 100% anonymous. Always. Please help keep our community safe. Nobody will ever know you spoke to us.”
