AN ASBO lout is behind bars after he was caught breaking into schools across Southend.
Connor Diack, 20, of no fixed address, admitted breaking into Southend High School for Girls and stealing an Apple Mac computer and £20 cash.
He also pleaded guity to attempting to break into St Nicholas School, in Philpott Avenue, on two consecutive days in September.
Diack also put his hands up to breaching an antisocial behaviour order imposed on him in by entering a shed in the grounds of Hamstel School, in Hamstel Road.
The Echo reported in October last year how he had been given the order after being branded a “prolific burglar” by police.
It was designed to try to prevent him breaking into schools or colleges, as it prevents him from entering them or their surrounding grounds without a prior appointment.
Southend Magistrates Court remanded Diack in custody until February. He will then be sentenced at Basildon Crown Court.
