A MEMORIAL service is taking place to mark the 60th anniversary of the floods which killed 95 people in Essex.
Princess Anne is attending the service at Chelmsford Cathedral to remember the residents of Canvey Island and Jaywick who died as a result of the North Sea flooding on 31 January 1953.
We're reporting from the service here. You can also take part in this live blog by using #essexfloods in your tweets
