A MOTHER was beaten up by a vicious gang of girls who gate-crashed her daughter’s 15th birthday party.

The yobs are thought to have found out about the party on Facebook and had taken drugs before trying to storm the house.

Sarah Conteh, 40, refused entry to about six girls at her home in Millview Meadows, Rochford, when they began banging on the door.

She said: “I went to open it and as soon as I did this girl punched me in the face. I still live in the 80s when adults had authority so I couldn’t believe it.

“I quickly shut the door and then they started whacking at the side window and I could hear them trying to get in the back gate.

“I thought they were going to wreck my house so I actually went outside and said “What do you think you’re doing?”

It was then that she was repeatedly punched by all six and so was her daughter, Aiysha, before a concrete block was thrown through the window.

She said police had been called along with her brother, James Adger, 36, but when he tried to chase the girls up the street he was detained by the police. He was brought back to her house before ebing released.

Mrs Conteh now has a black eye, bruises on her leg and a grazed arm where she was trying to shield her face.

She said her daughter had later received a message from one of the girls to say: “I apologise for the other night, we were really high, we had been taking stuff.”

Anyone with information about the incident, which happened last Friday night, should call police on 101.
