Prolific schools burglar jailed
A PROLIFIC burglar has been jailed for breaking into schools and threatening his mother with a bicycle chain.
Basildon Crown Court heard Connor Diack’s mother was so afraid of her son after he threatened her near outside her home on November 22 last year that she moved house.
Diack of Whitmore Way, Basildon, also targeted schools across Southend, stealing equipment, cash and staff belongings.
The 20-year-old was jailed for two years and three months at Basildon Crown Court on Tuesday.
