OVER a thousand screaming fans flocked to a Westcliff casino to watch X-Factor and Big Brother star Rylan Clark perform.

The Stanford-Le-Hope singer treated fans to some of his X-Factor hits at the Genting Casino on Western Esplanade and was joined by 2011 X-Factor finalists 2 Shoes who also sang their hit single ‘Turn Me On’.

Ray Lewis, formerly of The Drifters, also took to the stage for an impromptu performance.

Rylan tweeted before his appearance ”En route to my gig at Westcliff Casino tonight. Throat is still sore, specialist give me steroids, not for abs or pecs tho just to clarify x”

However, casino marketing manager John Harland said Rylan showed no sign of suffering from a sore throat.

“What an amazing night. 2 Shoes and Rylan were absolutely terrific and we had so many people come to watch. They are both Essex acts and what makes them so popular is they interact so well with the audience. "

John said of Rylan: “He is such a lovely fella’ and an all-round nice guy. The fact that he is so genuine makes it almost impossible not to like him.”
