A CARE HOME has been banned from taking in new residents after a catalogue of problems were found during an unannounced inspection.
Inspectors from the Care Quality Commission found residents in Chaplin Lodge in Wickford in a disheveled state and have ordered the company which runs it to improve standards by today or face further action.
Ademius Care was also criticised for the way it runs Mundy House in Basildon which inspectors said fails to meet basic government standards.
