A COUPLE who got together on Facebook decided to tie the knot... just a month after their first date.
Kathy Rombaut and Kris Pamenter’s whirlwind romance was sparked when 35-year-old Kathy spotted a picture of Kris on a friend’s Facebook page.
She added him as a friend and they got chatting on the social network site before meeting up in person and they hardly been apart since.
Mum of four Kathy from Leigh, said: “I had been going through my friend’s pictures on Facebook and I thought Kris looked nice so I added him as a friend. We started messaging back and forwards and then started texting and it went from there.
“We met and it was love at first sight. We were engaged within a month, moved in together after two months and now we’re getting married in May.”
The former nurse now works with 41-year-old accountant Kris. Kris, who is happy to take on Kathy’s children, Rhochelle, 16, Rheannah, 11 Rhomanie, nine and six-year-old Rhuby said: “I was married but divorced and had been single for a while when Kathy added me as a friend.
“We got chatting and texting, moved in together and now we’re getting married. I got to know her well through messaging and when I first met her I just knew she was right.”
