BURGLARS broke into a business in Benfleet trying to make off with the company safe.
Two doors to the side of North Thames H&P Merchants in Armstrong Road, were forced open
The thieves attempted to steal a safe from inside but were unsuccessful.
Instead they stole a satellite navigation system and cause damage to the alarm system.
Police are now hunting for four men who are believe to be responsible for the burglary which took place between 12.52am and 4.05am on March 6.
