Police have sealed off a block of public toilets after a body was found.
Officers were called to the toilets, opposite Churchills just off Southend High Street, at about 2.30pm today.
The toilets are known to be frequented by homeless people and drug users, and witnesses saw a 'sharps' box for needles being removed by police.
