Kierston Wareing on set
LEIGH actress Kierston Wareing is among four EastEnders’ stars lined up for the chop.
The BBC1 soap will axe characters Kirsty Branning, Carl White, Poppy Meadow and AJ White early next year.
Actors Kierston (Kirsty), Phaldut Hsarma (AJ), Daniel Coonan (Carl) and Rachel Bright (Poppy), will film their final scenes in the coming months.
The departures are as a result of changes by new executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins, who has recruited Luisa Bradshaw-White and comedian Terry Alderton to the show.
