Two arrested after Southend crash
TWO men were arrested following a crash in Southend.
Officers were called at 11.35am to Chichester Road at the junction with Tylers Avenue after a collision involving a suspected stolen blue Ford Mondeo and a black BMW X5.
A 31-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of theft and drink driving.
A 36-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of theft.
Both remain in police custody .
The road was closed for a short time as police carried out initial investigations.
