FIREFIGHTERS were called to assist paramedics following a three vehicle collision in Bowers Gifford.
Three crews, from Rayleigh and Basildon, attended the scene at Sadlers Farm Roundabout after receiving a call at 2.34pm.
Two people at the scene were trapped by their injuries but did not need cutting free at the incident.
Crews left the scene at approximately 3.15pm, leaving three casualties in the care of the Ambulance Service.
A spokesman from Essex Police said: “Police attended a three vehicle road traffic collision at Sadlers Farm Roundabout where a vehicle had driven into two others. One of the drivers received seatbelt injuries, and injured parties were taking to hospital. Enquiries are ongoing.”
