POLICE arrested three men following a raid on acannabis factory in Rochford this morning.

Officers dressed in protective gear were seen transporting items to a police van in Millhead Way on the Purdey's Industrial Estate at 11am.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Three men have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Rochford.

"Police were contacted shortly before 9pm on Monday, June 9 following reports of suspicious activity in Millhead Way, Rochford .
 

“Officers attended together with help from the force’s air support unit. They arrested a 49-year-old man of no fixed address and two 45-year-old ment from Leyton, East London.
 

“They are currently being questioned by detectives at Southend Police Station.

"A cannabis factory was found and officers are dismantling the equipment.”
