AN elderly man was cut out of his car following a three car crash in Rochford.
The ambulance was called to Hall Road just after 12.30pm following reports two people were trapped in their car following a crash involving two other cehicles.
Firefighters cut an elderly man, suffering from back and neck pain, out of the car at around 1.15pm.
An Essex Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a road traffic collision involving a white Vauxhall, a brown Ford Focus and a silver Vauxhall Astra. Ambulance and fire crews are on the scene."
It is believed the elderly man is suffering minor injuries and is the only person injured.
Hall Road is blocked in both directions while emergency services are on the scene.
