ROAD users are advised that there is severe congestion on the clockwise M25 heading towards the southbound Dartford Crossing.
Two lanes of the crossing are currently closed due to ongoing emergency repairs taking place near the Queen Elizabeth II bridge.
The road is not expected to fully reopen until 6pm. There is currently congestion past junction 29 towards junction 28 with delays of up to 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Drivers planning to use this section of the M25 are advised to plan their journeys and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
