Charity champs - staff from Choice discount store in Basildon have been helping raise funds for the Bust unit
WORKERS at Choice discount stores in south Essex have raised thousands of pounds for the Lady McAdden breast screening unit at Southend Hospital.
The unit celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and it is trying raise £10,000 for further improvements to the unit.
Choice raised £3, 500 through selling raffle tickets from its Basildon, Grays, Wickford and Hadleigh stores. The tickets were sold to customers in store all hoping to win the first prize of a new Vauxhall Corsa.
