A FAMILY-OF-EIGHT recently evicted for anti-social behaviour has begun a new reign of terror in Chadwell St Mary.
Sarah Clarke and her seven children - aged two to 17 - were evicted by Thurrock Council from Aluric Close, Chadwell St Mary, in May, after two years of complaints from neighbours.
It has now been revealed Sarah has rented a £1,000-a-month house from a Grays Letting Agency, with the support of the Housing and Social Services, in Crouch Road.
Yet the family's new neighbours are already complaining.
Barbara Cowan said: "It's the constant foul language and slamming doors until two in the morning.
"They always seem to be at each other's throats."
Jean Imay, acting head of social care, inclusion and safeguarding said: "Our focus is always on ensuring the safety and welfare of vulnerable children and young people. This is a complex job and we must operate within a strict legal framework."
The family would not comment.
