YOUNG John King may have saved his mum's life, thanks to skills he picked up in class.
Diabetic Maureen, 53, of Rayside, Basildon, was with John, 13, in Grays market when she had a fit and collapsed.
Maureen said: "He put a bag under my head and put me in the recovery position."
If she had been left, Maureen could have lapsed into a coma. She praised Woodlands School, where John learned first-aid.
