FOUR people were taken to hospital, including two women with serious injuries, following a crash in the early hours of the morning.
The accident happened at the junction of Southchurch Road and Sutton Road, Southend, at 3.35am.
A woman in her late thirties suffered series injuries to her head and abdomen and was rushed to Southend Hospital as a matter of urgency.
A 57-year-old woman suffered fractures to her wrist and leg.
The other two patients suffered minor injuries.
