A TALKING website has been launched to help people who have problems with reading.
The software has been added to Basildon Council's existing website and reads text aloud for residents who have low literacy levels or dyslexia.
It also helps people who have problems with their sight.
Councillor Stephen Horgan, Basildon Council's portfolio holder for technology, said: "More than 36,000 people already use our website and we hope even more residents will now be able to do so with the help of talking pages."
