COUNCIL tenants will soon be getting new kitchens and bathrooms as part of a £1.2million improvement programme.
Thurrock Council will spend the money on new kitchens and bathrooms for some homes and there will also be CCTV and safety lights introduced in some high risk areas.
Cabinet members also agreed to buy back some homes sold to tenants and to provide a more intensive support for vulnerable tenants.
