DOGS and their owners were put through their paces at a fun day.
Organised and hosted by the Phoenix Dog Training Club, the day saw hounds taking part in agility courses, a scurry where they jumped over fences at speed and an obedience contest.
The day, held at the club's grounds in Dunton Road, Laindon, was open to dogs of all ages and sizes who train at the club.
Chief instructor Audrey Jones said the day was a success and was well attended.
Anyone interested in taking their dogs to obedience classes at the school can call Audrey on 01277 656077 or club secretary Jackie Mann on 01375 641421.
