A TAXI driver was robbed of his takings at knifepoint.
The 53-year-old man was driving two men past Northlands Park, Pitsea, when they pulled a knife on him.
They threatened him and forced him to hand over his takings.
The two robbers then fled with a small sum of cash.
The cabbie was uninjured in the attack.
One of the men was aged between 25 to 35, 5ft 9ins tall, with dark brown short cropped hair.
He was unshaven and wore a dark jacket, dark blue jeans and white trainers.
His accomplice was in his thirties, with light brown hair.
He wore a faun-coloured jumper.
