The horticultural society autumn show will take place at Leigh Road Baptist Church Hall in Marguerite Drive on Saturday September 8 at 2pm.
The third show of the year should see a colourful display of autumn flowers including dahlias, pelargoniums and fuchsias. Other classes include cacti and aucculents and many for fruit and vegetables.
There will be six decorative flower classes and eight home craft classes including jams and cakes. There are seven classes for children up to the age of 14 including a photograph of my pet.
Home made cakes and refreshments will be available. Doors open at 2pm and entry is £1 for visitors and free for members and accompanied children.
