CHILDREN seized the chance to take a closer look at nature during an action-packed wildlife fun day.
Despite the drizzly summer downpours, more than 300 people flocked the RSPB event at the Salvation Army Farm in Hadleigh.
Kids were challenged to find bugs and creepy crawlies during a mini-beast hunt and took part in an insect nature trail around the grounds.
Youngsters lent their support to the RSPB's Save the Albatross campaign by making colourful masks of the endangered bird during the day's arts and craft workshop.
Plenty of families took the opportunity to explore the farm's rare breeds centre.
