POLICE are warning motorists to take precautions to protect their cars after three break-ins along the same road in Westcliff.

A thief targeted two cars while they were in Park Drive, Westcliff, in the early hours of last Tuesday, April 15.

The window of a Ford Galaxy was smashed and two road maps were stolen. A window was also broken on a blue Citroen Xantia, but nothing was stolen.

The window of a red Rover 25 was also smashed and a radio and a selection of CDs, worth a total of £200 were stolen.
