IT will be all aboard for some hearty fun as families get the chance to ride a “pirates and princesses” train.
Train operator National Express East Anglia will be giving passengers a day to remember with a magical ride with a difference this Sunday.
The Southminster to Wickford themed train service will see youngsters getting dressed up as pirates and princesses to enjoy fun and games onboard.
The train will depart Southminster Station, near Maldon, at 11.05am and make a short pit stop at Wickford Station before returning to Southminster at 12.35pm.
Clive Morris, National Express East Anglia business director said: “Bring your wands and cutlasses and join volunteers and staff in fancy dress on board the National Express East Anglia pirates and princesses themed train.”
“On board, children will be given a special goodie bag and the opportunity to take part in all the fun and games, win prizes and find the treasure.”
All tickets must be booked in advance from Burnham Tourist Information at Burnham One Place on the High Street in Burnham-on-Crouch, or by telephoning 01621 784 962. Adult fare is £6.70 and children under 12 travel for £1.
