BOND fans got to see their hero’s latest outing a day earlier than most of the rest of the country.
The chance came when the Empire cinema, at Festival Leisure Park, Basildon, staged the regional premiere of Quantum of Solace, the 23rd Bond movie.
Agent 007 lent his muscle to an even worthier cause than Her Majesty’s Secret Service when the film’s producers allowed the cinema to stage a gala charity night on behalf of Cancer Research UK.
