Rock ’n’ roll stars – John King and Pete Kilbane
FANS of the King got all shook up as Elvis impersonators shook their stuff.
Wickford man John King, Pete Kilbane from Basildon and Chris Aron from London were just three of the five Elvis soundalikes performing at the Village Country Club in Southend Road, Corringham.
The club is playing host to Elvis impersonator competitions every Sunday until December.
The winners will go head to head in a final held at the club on December 21, where Elvis’ daughter, Lisa Marie, will pick the winner.
The king of Kings will join Elvis and Me, a new stage show touring the UK next year.
