A HEARTBROKEN tourist whose partner died suddenly on holiday has reached out to the Southend family who may have taken some of the last photographs of her lost love.

Tina Vipond, 52, has appealed to the family she met while holidaying in Alanya, Turkey, to get in touch if they have any pictures of her partner, Charles Edgar Knee, known to friends as Eddie.

The 54-year-old taxi driver from Rickmansworth, Hertforshire, collapsed and died of a heart attack.

The couple had earlier met the Southend mother and her three children during a diving trip on Friday, September 26.

Tina said: “They were all very nice. I’m sure they would remember us because Eddie only had one leg.

“He was also a huge man, around 6ft 4ins. He was a gentle giant.

“I just want to say to the family if they have any pictures of him at all I would love to have a copy of them.”
