A WOMAN in her thirties was airlifted to hospital after falling from her horse. The accident happened in Hullbridge Road, Rayleigh, at about 11am yesterday. A rapid response vehicle, ambulance and the Essex Air Ambulance were sent to the scene. Paramedic Neil Peachey said: “The patient had hit a wooden fence in the fall and suffered a significant cut and swelling above her left eye. “She was relatively stable, but because of the nature of the injury she was flown to Queen’s Hospital, Romford, which specialises in head trauma.”
