A SCULPTOR gave schoolchildren the chance to make their own works of art during a visit to his studios.
Aden Hynes, of the Sculpture Studio, in Southfields industrial estate, Laindon, helped children from East Tilbury Infant School cast an assortment of spanners and hammers out of clay yesterday.
Mr Hynes said: “The children were moulding objects from my workshop. They turned out really nice in the end.”
“I actually really love my job and it’s good to encourage young children to pursue their dreams as well.”
Much of My Hynes’s work is used for TV and film, and his giant masks were used as part of the backdrop for the recent Baftas awards ceremony.
